LaPolla Industries, Inc. is proud to announce the grand opening of the LaPolla University – Technology and Educational Center, or the TEC, located at our corporate facility in Houston, Texas.

The TEC will commence this month with our first training course, SPF Roofing 101, Monday, June 19th – June 21st. The class is limited and space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Roofing 101 course will provide classroom and hands-on training for Graco / Gusmer equipment, roofing inspection, coating selection, spray application of SPF, specifications, credentials, trouble-shooting and more. The classes will be taught by industry professionals with decades of industry knowledge and experience.

The TEC will offer classes and Seminars that include:

1. SPF Roofing 101
2. Restoration Coating Systems 101
3. Wall Foam 101
4. Equipment Training (Graco / Gusmer / Glas-Craft)
5. Building Owner Seminars for SPF and Restoration Roofing
6. Building Owner Seminars on Wall Foam Insulation and Energy Savings

LaPolla Industries has assembled a yearlong schedule allowing our valued customers and end users to plan well in advance to attend classes that will bring valuable knowledge. The combination of Hands-On and Classroom Training will allow for the most efficient exposure to professional guidance and information in a short period of time, leaving the students better prepared to successfully accomplish projects and understand the “guidebook” approach.

The TEC is an important part of LaPolla’s approach and ability to provide Turn-Key service to our customers. For those interested in getting into the Spray Polyurethane business for roofing and/or wall insulation, LaPolla can provide information and guidance on equipment selection, equipment sales, service and field support, classroom and hands-on training at the TEC, as well as High Performance Materials at competitive pricing.
